An introduction to Italian. Students will learn the basics of the Italian language by mastering communication in a variety of situations such as introducing oneself, greeting people and saying goodbye, asking questions, describing oneself and others, asking for information, expressing preferences, etc.  Italian culture will be kept at the forefront, since language and culture are really two sides of the same coin
